Luxe Decor Gifts to Give this Wedding Season

Wedding season is officially upon us, and with that comes the need to buy gifts. If you would like to stray away from the customary pots and pans or other household wedding gifts, decor gifts are a great option!

Wreaths

Wreaths make a fabulous home decor wedding gift! As the happy newly wed couple gets home and they are swimming in gifts like dishes, towels, and small appliances they may soon realize they don't have those fun personal touches that truly make a house a home. Giving the gift of a nice wreath for the front door is a fantastic way of providing them with that unique personal touch.

Monogrammed Table Runner

Another home decor gift that makes for a great wedding gift is a monogrammed table runner. These photos show three different examples of how this can be done. These simple runners can go with many different decor styles so you don't have to worry about coordinating exactly with what they have in the space. Stay neutral in color, and simple in font and you will be good to go!

Custom Last Name Signs

Finally, a custom last name sign is another great decor gift to give as a wedding present. This is a sweet and sentimental gift that can be hung in any number of spaces throughout the home. There are countless options to choose from with these types of signs so you can choose one that feels most like the couple to you. Etsy is always a great source for items like these.

Cumberland Weddings

I was thrilled to be asked to contribute an article in Cumberland Weddings magazine again this year!  The article is about using the registry to your advantage.  Sarah Burton is the publisher and a fabulous event planner in the Lake Cumberland area.  She works with locals and a number of out-of-town brides who come into the area for their big day.  You may recognize Sarah's name, as she has served as a guest blogger for me in the past.  She is a wealth of knowledge on all things etiquette and a wonderful resource for brides- to be.

You can find volume 4 of the Cumberland Weddings magazine in Lexington at Simply Love Studio, as well as several locations in the Somerset area.  Check out the magazine's website for more great info!  Pass these links along to your engaged friends- they will thank you it.
