Another easy way to transition away from the Halloween decor is by removing any of the blacks and purples and going more toward oranges, reds and browns. Framed Displays

This type of display is best for flat items such as ticket stubs or magazines.  Keep in mind the magazines can add some bulk, so you will need to do one of two things: 1. Separate the cover from the rest of the magazine and frame it only, OR 2. Work with a professional framer on how to house the entire magazine within the frame. 

Shadow Boxes

Shadow boxes offer more depth than a picture frame, so they work well for 3 dimensional items.  They can also be a good way to display a grouping of related items that don’t require individual frames.  For example, we’ve pinned a collection of swim caps onto the back of a shadow box to create a visual impact that could not be achieved by individually framing each of them.

Display Cases

These types of cases are best for oddly shaped items like game balls.  There’s no way to mount them flat, so displaying in an individual case that protects from fingerprints and dust is a smart choice.
