Updating your kitchen and painting it a gray will add instant sophistication. Requisite Gray really allows for the aspects to take center stage. If you have white cabinetry it will be sure to stand out. Speaking of cabinetry, you can always use this color on the cabinets instead of the walls to change things up. Either way you go, your kitchen will surely become an inviting space.

Mountain Stream is a rich shade of blue with a hint of gray. This blue is just dark enough to create depth and dimension in your space but is still not overwhelming. This shade works well when paired with crisp whites as shown in the photo of the bathroom below. It can even add interest by using it to paint the ceiling.

The Perfect Shades of Brown for Walls

-->
We’re on a bit of a paint kick if you can’t tell by the title! But painting a space is one of the easiest and most cost effective ways to give it an entirely new life. I feel like brown tones get a bad wrap for coming across as dated, and yes, that can be true. But thankfully, I’ve rounded up some modern browns that are anything but dated.

Latte

Latte is a lovely rich, warm medium brown. Painting your space this color will almost immediately make you want to curl up with a book and get cozy.

Balanced Beige

Balanced Beige is a light brown that serves as a great backdrop. It is very soft so it is perfect for a calm and soothing space. As you can see from the picture above it works well with both warm and cool colors.

Virtual Taupe

Virtual Taupe a deeper brown with more of a gray undertone, and sometimes can even pick up green depending on the lighting. Although it is dark, because of its cool undertone, it doesn’t take over the space. Yes, it makes a statement, there is no denying that, but it makes the right one.
