Painting your stairs is a nice and easy way to add a pop of color and fun to an unexpected place. All you need is paint, a paintbrush, painters tape, and perhaps stencils. First of all wipe down your stairs and tape of the area you wish to paint. Pick a bold color for extra drama or a stencil to add more personality. Simple enough right?

Rope cups are a great way to add storage and a touch of texture to any space. For these you just need rope and a hot glue gun. You will first need to form the base, to do so begin rapping the rope in a circular motion, once you have the base to your desired size you can begin forming the walls. You do this by stacking the rope onto itself until you reach the height you wish you accomplish. To add support rap the last bit of rope to form 3-4 rows around the inside rim.
